International brands to delight Menlyn Park shoppers

Zara, Hamleys toy store, Krispy Kreme doughnuts and H&M clothing are just four major international brands that will soon be opening their doors in Menlyn Park Shopping Centre in Pretoria. The centre, which is undergoing a R2-billion redevelopment due for completion later this year, will become the largest in Africa, with over 500 shops and a gross lettable area of 177 000sqm.

Spanish clothing and accessories label Zara already has eight stores in South Africa, and will open its first store in Pretoria at Menlyn Park Shopping Centre.

Andrea de Wit, marketing manager of Menlyn Park Shopping Centre, says she’s looking forward to adding to the quality of the shopping experience of the centre’s target audience. Not only that, but “Pretoria is home to 170 embassies and consulates, the second-highest concentration in the world, and we want our international tenants to make visiting diplomats and VIPs feel right at home,” she adds.
