Odette Parris, joint area principal for Pam Golding Properties, says buyers are mainly those purchasing second and third homes as well as those acquiring property for long term investment purposes.
"Over the years, Clarens has become a popular weekend destination and as a result, it has become an attractive option to purchase a stand say three kilometres outside the town, yet close enough to enjoy the use of all amenities," she says.
The installation of services is due to commence in the next few months. Registration is expected to take place around March 2007, and thereafter those wishing to start building their homes will be able to do so.
