Small in Size but Big at Heart

Kuilman Mundell and Arlow Attorneys, Notaries and Conveyancers is a small niche-based firm specialising in all aspects of property law as well as ante-nuptial contracts and administration of estates and commercial matters. The firm was founded by Peter Kuilman on the 1st of April, 1988 and since then the firm has grown from strength to strength. In 1991 Peter was joined by his university colleague, Patrick Mundell and the firm changed its name to Kuilman Mundell. In 1997, Peter left to pursue commercial interests overseas but remained a consultant to the firm.

Patrick was admitted as an attorney in 1983 and spent some time with at City of Johannesburg where he was exposed to a wide range of town planning and local government matters which now form an important part of his legal background and expertise. Patrick continued to practise as a sole practitioner until 2005 when Bernadette Arlow, who had made her way up through the ranks of the firm, was appointed as a partner and the firm assumed its current name of Kuilman Mundell and Arlow. Bernadette Arlow emigrated and left the firm in 2021 but remains a consultant to the firm. The conveyancing department is currently run by Kevin Baard and Tanya Deale under supervision of Patrick Mundell.
