There are 336 units, all in three storey walk-up blocks. This final phase will add two more blocks to the development and will bring on stream 48 two bedroom apartments, each with ±56m2 of space. These are priced at R415,000 per apartment which equates to a very competitive R8,000 per m2.
Richard Edwards, Manager, New Business, for Nedbank Corporate Property Finance (Cape), said that both the site and the pricing have proved ideal for today's Helderberg Basin market.
"By starting with a luxury beachfront complex and moving onto a scheme in which units are priced right for new entrants to our fast growing middle class, Johan van den Berg has shown that he can accurately track market trends," said Edwards.
All phases of the development have been financed by Nedbank Corporate Property Finance.
