New rental apartments in Midrand from R6.2k

Located very close to the Mall of Africa and Waterfall City, as well as the other developments taking place in the burgeoning Waterfall mixed-use precinct, new luxury apartment developments have been designed to meet the rising demand for quality urban-style rental accommodation in this area.

Rentals in the first phase of Carlswald Luxury Apartments start from R6 200 a month for one bedroom units, R8 200 for two bedroom units and R11 600 a month for three bedroom units.

Century Property Developments, the company behind Waterfall Estate and billions of rands’ worth of other residential developments in Midrand, has appointed national property management company, Trafalgar, to let and manage its luxury apartment developments in the area.

Trafalgar MD, Andrew Schaefer, says these include Crowthorne Luxury Apartments, as well as the recently-launched Carlswald Luxury Apartments complex that offers ultra-modern one, two and three bedroom apartments in a low-rise development with excellent security and communal facilities.

“Many blue-chip companies already have their headquarters in Midrand, and with several more coming to the new CBD of Waterfall City, an increasing number of young executives and managers want to live close to work and avoid having to commute from Johannesburg or Pretoria,” says Schaefer.

“And the luxury apartments in the Century developments are exactly the type of accommodation they prefer - upscale units in an estate setting that facilitate a busy lock-up and go lifestyle and enable quick and easy access to exclusive shops, restaurants and schools.”

He says the strength of demand is indicated by the very rapid uptake of the 216 apartments in the Crowthorne Luxury Apartments complex and the strong response to the recent launch of the Carlswald Luxury Apartments development.

Schaefer says the apartments are upscale units in an estate setting that facilitate a busy lock-up and go lifestyle and enable quick and easy access to exclusive shops, restaurants and schools.

Rentals in the first phase of this project start from R6 200 a month for one bedroom units, R8 200 for two bedroom units and R11 600 a month for three bedroom units, and 182 of the 237 units that have been completed are already let.

“However, specialist management is now required to ensure that the complexes are properly run and maintained and will retain their appeal while increasing in value, and we are very proud that Century Property Developments has chosen Trafalgar to provide this service,” says Schaefer
