Two Cape Town ST property management companies join

19 Jun 2015

Two of Cape Town’s sectional title property management companies, Sandak-Lewin Property Trust and J & S Penkin cc, will be amalgamating, strengthening Sandak-Lewin Property Trust’s position as a sectional title property management company in the Western Cape.

“J & S Penkin cc is a natural fit with Sandak-Lewin Property Trust because of its recognised strength and exceptional sectional title property management practices and expertise, and further because they share our high-quality value-added client service philosophy,” says Rebe.

This is according to David Rebe, CEO of Sandak-Lewin Property Trust, who says they will have a combined workforce of more than 60 staff members, who will be responsible for the management of approximately 500 sectional title buildings in Cape Town and neighbouring areas in the Western Cape.

Rebe says that the amalgamation will strengthen the company’s resources and enhance their ability to serve clients across the Western Cape.

“J & S Penkin cc is a natural fit with Sandak-Lewin Property Trust because of its recognised strength and exceptional sectional title property management practices and expertise, and further because they share our high-quality value-added client service philosophy,” he says.

“Combining our resources and extensive knowledge of the property management sector, J & S Penkin cc gives us the unique opportunity to create new synergies and to grow and enhance our client services by leveraging our personnel, financial strength, programmes and systems to build a stronger presence in the Western Cape.”

According to Saville Penkin of J & S Penkin cc, after running the business for 48 years, firstly as a Sole Proprietor and thereafter as the sole member of J & S Penkin cc, the company has taken the decision to amalgamate the business with that of Sandak-Lewin Trust, who operates a very similar business.

“The amalgamation will offer an even better service to our clients, as Sandak-Lewin’s advanced programmes and integrated systems will benefit both the business and our clients,” says Penkin.

Sandak-Lewin Trust Incorporating J & S Penkin cc will be located at the Sandak-Lewin Trust offices, situated on the corner of Riebeek and Loop Streets, Cape Town.

The majority of J & S Penkin staff, including portfolio managers, rental agents, bookkeepers, secretaries, and so forth, will be moving to the Sandak-Lewin Trust premises from 1 July 2015.
