This is according to Tanya Jovanovski, Franchisee of Rawson Auctions Western Cape, who says the farm is portion 3 of Farm 134, and offers you nothing less than breathtaking views of the Kammanassie Mountains and river frontage.

Jovanovski says the farm comes with water rights to 50 000 cubic metres of water from a perennial mountain stream. The stream has been tested and the water is of a quality that can be bottled.

There is also irrigation land of 4.4ha on the farm, of which 3.3ha has mother lines connected to a 7.5kW pump station at the river, as well as a 25kVA Eskom point.

“The vegetation around and in the farm varies greatly, but to no detriment. It is of a typical South Africa bushland inclination with endemic shrubbery and trees - among other beautiful fauna,” says Jovanovski.

“Uniondale is known for its scenery and outdoorsy activities, such as fishing, birding, swimming in rock pools or just admiring the beauty Mother Nature has to offer.”

She says the town itself boasts a wonderful selection of restaurants, coffee shops and gift shops, among essential amenities.

“Tourists can visit the seven national monuments and the museum - the town is so rich with history.”

“The vegetation around and in the farm varies greatly, but to no detriment. It is of a typical South Africa bushland inclination with endemic shrubbery and trees - among other beautiful fauna,” says Jovanovski.

The auction will be silent by tender, comprising written offers in a sealed envelope, with tenders closing on Wednesday, 31 August at 12h00.

“The guided price is R2.25 million, however, all offers will be reviewed,” says Jovanovski.

“Rates and taxes are R90 monthly, however, the seller is not registered for VAT, meaning a transfer fee will be payable.”

In following with the terms of Rawson Auctions, there is no registration fee to bid. However, a deposit of 5% of the purchase price, as well as 10% commission plus VAT over and above the purchase is price to be paid to Rawson Auctions by the buyer on acceptance of the seller.

Bidders are required to be registered and must have certified copies of their identity documents and proof of residence with them.
