Pearly Beach is a small village about 30 minutes from Gansbaai. This is a place where friends and family come to enjoy the outdoors and really get away from society. The locals are a great source of information and if you pop into one of the local pubs, you are sure to hear all about the best fishing spots...and how big the latest catch was. If you are up for a surf then its best to take the 4x4 to reach the isolated beach where the local boys know is best. This is one of my favourite destinations to unwind and be outdoors. In the native tongue of the Afrikaner Folk, "bakkies, boerewors and braai!" Think fresh fish, periwinkles and sun worshiping.
