SPACIOUS IN POPULAR SEA AVENUES
This 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home offers a spacious open-plan living area, including a large kitchen, ideal for entertainment. This home also has a private garden and is a short walk to amenities. Ideal for retirement or holiday home.
Take a journey back to nature, a break that revitalizes body, mind and soul from the time you head out on the R44 from Gordon's Bay.
This coastal drive is rated as one of the most beautiful in the world, with sights of great granite mountains carpeted in proteas on one side and the magnificent False Bay on the other. Here nestle the four coastal villages of Rooi Els, Pringle Bay, Betty's Bay and Kleinmond, with not a casino, cinema or traffic light between them.
Kleinmond is situated in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom and is surrounded by the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve (containing 1 400 species of fynbos) which is the first Biosphere in South Africa to be proclaimed by United Nations' Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). There are over 1500 different plant species here, 150 of which are endemic, occurring nowhere else in the world. There are troops of shaggy Chacha baboons, rock dassies and lynx, and even wild leopard live on the crags. Bird watchers from all over the world travel here to tick off ‘lifers' such as the Bank Cormorant and Cape Rockjumpers.
Specific areas of the town are currently enjoying particular popularity. These include the avenues in the centre of town, located within walking distance of both the beachfront and mountain trails, and close to all amenities. Another popular area is the Palmiet area on the western side of town, which is close to the harbour development and nature reserve, as well as beautiful Palmiet Beach. On the eastern side of town, Klein-Berlyn and Heuningkloof are in high demand due to their proximity to the Flue-Flag beach, lagoon and the local nine-hole golf course.
The Harbour Road Development, located on the waters edge, is popular for its restaurants, coffee shops, pottery shop, art gallery, Montague Dry Fruits and boutique shops. The Tourism Bureau with its friendly, helpful staff located in Harbour Road, provides information and suggestions about our wonderful town. The residential units are primarily used for holiday rentals at present and enjoy magnificent sea and mountain views. Apartments to be built in future phases of the development can be purchased off plan, with prices ranging from R2.8 million to R5.5 million inclusive of VAT.
