Three of Nedbank Corporate Property and Finance Valuations Academy candidates have graduated as fully fledged Professional Associated Property Valuers.

Launched in January 2007, the objective of the academy has been to grow previously-disadvantaged graduates to the position of registered qualified professional property valuers. The academy offers successful candidates bursaries to further their studies and exposes them to detailed on-the-job training, including actual property valuations and revaluing Nedbank’s existing property portfolio.

The graduates are Siamisang Sake, who is based in Cape Town under the guidance of David Croeser and his team of valuers; Gauteng-based Pelo Maamogwa, who has been working under the guidance of Jeremy Chetty and his team of valuers; and Eric Phahla, who is based in KZN under the guidance of Keld Bohus and his team of valuers.

Heading the academy Sagren Subramanien, corporate representative for Nedbank, claims all three were put through their training and mentorship with the help of Professional/Professional Associated Valuers in the three regions. “We would like to thank the valuers and the managers of the Nedbank Corporate Property Finance Valuations department for the help, time and guidance they have offered to the three new Professional Associated Valuers. We are proud to be part of a learning culture and pleased to be giving back to the Property Valuers Profession,” says Subramanien.
