The re-launch of RE/MAX House of Real Estate's office in Mossel Bay in the Western Cape was a run-away success.

Selected clients, members of the media and public attended the cheese and wine hosted by Broker/Owners Keith and Yolanda Lodewick at the office's prestigious new premises in Langeberg Mall on 3 November. RE/MAX House of Real Estate was previously situated at 57 Marsh Street.

"Langeberg Mall is the ideal location for the office, seeing that the Mall is strategically situated just off the N2, en route between Mossel Bay and Hartenbos on the Garden Route," said Yolanda.

The office will be covering Mossel Bay, Dana Bay, Diaz, Santos, Hartenbos, Klein and Groot Brak and surrounds.

Commenting on property in the area, Yolanda said that property in the coastal area is still in demand. "It is however still a buyers' market as asking prices are not yet fully achieved," she said.

An entry-level home in the area sells for approximately R650 000 while mid-level to high-end properties fall within the R1,5-million to R10-million price bracket.

"Overall, Mossel Bay and close surrounds are very popular among South African and international buyers due to the quality of living it represents. It's also a secure and safe environment to invest in," said Keith.

Adrian Goslett, Assistant Regional Director of RE/MAX of Southern Africa congratulated Keith and Yolanda on their new premises, adding that Mossel Bay's stable weather and year-go-round-beach-weather is another big attraction for investors.
