An established site which used to be the Dorpskombuis Bakery in Gansbaai in the Western Cape will be auctioned on 15 May by Rawson Auctions.

The auction will take place at the Rawson head office on the corner of Klipper and Main roads in Rondebosch at 12pm.

The Dorpskombuis premises front onto one of Gansbaai’s main streets, Dirkie Uys Street and the erf covers 972 square metres.

It is currently vacant and perfect for redevelopment, is also zoned commercial and has a three phase power supply, says Tanya Jovanovski, franchisee for Rawson Auctions in the Western Cape.

“I believe this property is perfect for end users and / or investors with turnkey clients,” she says.

Jovanovski explains that they have done several deals involving Platteland and Karoo properties.

It seems there is a strong desire among certain people to reinvent their lives in calmer, less frenetic country surroundings like Greyton, Barrydale, Melkbosstrand, Darling, Ysterfontein, Langebaan and Onrus, all of which these days can offer attractive business opportunities, she says.
