The Western Cape Institute of Estate Agents (soon to become the PPSA, Property Professionals of SA), has appointed Dianne Brock as its general manager.

Dianne Brock, the Western Cape Institute of Estate Agents' new general manager.

This follows on the move of the former GM, Sandy Walsh, to a managerial position with a leading Cape estate agency.

Ms Brock was previously the manager of IEASA’s Property Placements division, which finds positions in the property sector for experienced agents and staff and newcomers willing to undergo a year’s internship.  PropPlacements will continue to operate as before albeit initially with a lower turnover.

Ms Brock’s work background includes 20 years in the residential property sector, for 15 of which she was principal of her own agency, a franchise, in Fish Hoek.

“This is an exciting time to be involved with IEASA,” said Brock, “because the entire residential property sector is entering a new era, one in which a smaller number of highly qualified professionals will, I believe, raise the standards to unprecedented levels.”
