A residential estate offering 125 stands has been launched on the banks of the Olifants River near Hoedspruit in Limpopo.
Kingfisher Hill Golf and Country Estate, about 27km out of town, is situated on 270ha of bushveld and offers stands at prices ranging from R460k, says Rose White of the local Aida office.
Small game such as impala and warthog roam the grounds.
Construction of the 18-hole golf course has started and all services are in place. Electricity cables have been laid underground to prevent visual pollution.
The entire estate will be secured and entry will be through a gatehouse.
