The Aida Polokwane franchise has once again been honoured as one of the top contributors to economic growth and development in the Limpopo region with the presentation of a PMR Silver Arrow award.
“This is our fourth consecutive arrow award,” says franchise owner Anton Hanekom, “and we are honoured by the way in which our community continues to recognise our efforts.
“This caps a stellar year for our agency, which was recently also named by the national Aida group as the top office in the Limpopo/Mpumalanga region – and one of the top three franchises in the country in terms of units sold. But none of this success would be possible without our clients, who are enabling us to grow our business largely through referrals.”
The arrow awards are presented annually by the influential Professional Management Review magazine, following a survey in which thousands of respondents are asked to nominate and rate companies and other organisations on such aspects as service delivery, professionalism, development contributions and community involvement.
This year, Aida Polokwane was the top-performing estate agency in the business section of the survey, and Hanekom attributes this to strong branding linked to well-trained agents who are able to deliver and are at the same time very active in their communities.
“The Aida brand is of course the most loved and trusted in the SA real estate sector, but we are very conscious of the need always to deliver on the expectations it creates, and to this end we are committed, firstly, to training and upskilling that enables our agents to continuously improve service levels.
“For example, all the senior agents at Aida Polokwane have already obtained the new NQF4 real estate qualification, and many are taking NQF5 courses. And all our new agents are registered for and working towards the NQF4.”
Meanwhile the agency’s second commitment, he says, is to be a “force for good” in the communities it serves. “And in this regard, we have given our full support this past year to the national Aida blood donation campaign, as we believe this is a cause that everyone can embrace.
“We have held several ‘blood drives’ in our area and are very proud that our community has also given us so much support and encouragement with this project that Limpopo was one of the top regions in terms of units collected.”
