A mass auction, the first of its kind in the area, will be held in Johannesburg South on 11 November at Thaba Ya Batswana at 11h00.

Savile Row Auctions announced that the Johannesburg office will be holding stand alone auctions for the Johannesburg South region in Johannesburg South. These auctions will be held in addition to Savile Row Auctions monthly Johannesburg North auction at Summer Place.

"We are very excited to be holding this auction – it is the first of its kind to be held in the south of Johannesburg. We have over R100m worth of property that will go under the hammer on 11 November and are confident that we will see the same success in Johannesburg South as we have seen in the North over the last few months," said Mark Kleynhans, Managing Director of Savile Row Auctions.

Kleynhans says there will be 21 lots of stock covering both commercial and residential offerings. "It is worth noting that none of this stock is repossessed and clearly indicates that our clients are realising that auctions provide an exclusive platform for realistically priced sellers and serious buyers to do business, and it doesn't have to be about distressed sales."
