The educational level of people entering the property world has risen to a remarkable degree and the calibre of applicants joining the industry is higher than ever before.

It has been said that this is bringing about a transformation in performance and efficiency levels throughout the real estate marketing sector.

Andre Swart, the franchisee at Rawson Properties’ Brackenfell Roslyn franchise says since the signing up of Rowan Alexander last year, the entire franchise has benefited, with attitudes and achievements all taking an upturn.

Alexander is a highly qualified person in South African property today. He has completed a BSc in Property Studies at UCT and went on to do an honours year, which is equivalent to an NQF8 level standing in the sector.

“Those who still remain sceptical about the value of the high educational levels now demanded of all estate agents and the very high levels now evident among some of the industry’s senior staff, should see how the in-depth knowledge of Rowan Alexander coupled with his quiet, confident temperament have helped us to iron out difficulties and create a more efficient organisation each day,” says Swart.

Alexander sold 34 units during the month of July, which resulted in him being awarded the national top agent title in the Rawson Property Group for August.
