Engel & VölkersSouthern Africa is moving forward with yet another expansion licence signed on 13 December 2012 for Lonehill in Johannesburg.
Lonehill would be the fourth Engel & Völkers shop in Johannesburg, which includes Bryanston, Broadacres and West Rand.
Engel & Völkers Lonehill will be covering areas such as Pine Slopes AH, Lonehill, Paulshof, Sunninghill, Palmlands AH, Blandford Ridge AH.
Jürgen and Jackie Schüning who purchased the licence, moved from a competitor agency where they started out in 2011.
Jürgen has been in property sales in both South Africa and Europe for a number of years. "I chose Lonehill because of my appreciation of the quality of life in the area. I moved from my previous agency because I have seen the growth of Engel & Völkers in South Africa, and being German, I fully support what Engel & Völkers stands for and their systems and support is just a step above the competition.”
Jürgen was an exclusive agent for the Lonehill area and has been successful in both freehold properties, sectional title properties, rentals and was also previously involved in the sales of Hydro-power stations.
According to Jürgen, the Lonehill license area has the perfect mixture of affordable sectional title properties and high-end value homes. He also believes that obtaining a bond has become easier than a few years ago and that the development in the Lonehill area is in a healthy state.
"The brand expansion we are currently experiencing in the metropole areas is a positive sign of things to come and I foresee a bright future, for the brand as well as the real estate industry in general," says Craig Hutchison, CEO of Engel & Völkers Southern Africa.
He says they are proud to have Jürgen as part of their group, and they are looking forward to working with him as he builds the brand in the area. Hutchison says he believe that the new partnership will be a great success.
