The third China Town Shopping Centre in Voortrekker Road, Parow, at Shoprite Park in Cape Town opened its doors for trading in April.
This is the third China Town centre to be established by the China Town Trust, the other two being in Ottery and Sable Square, bringing 180 shops between the three centres with a large variety of goods to the shopping public of Cape Town.
“The Ottery and Sable Square China Town centres are now well established and all the shops there are trading steadily, and we expect the same from the new centre in Parow,” says Shu-ing Liou, a member of the consortium that developed and owns the China Town retail centres, the China Town Trust.
Liou says all three centres bring great value to the consumer, offering a wide range of goods including clothing, shoes, bedding, electronics, food, toys and much more, which they feel is a recipe for success.
A second phase is planned for the Parow centre, which will bring a further 60 shops on stream.
