One Johannesburg residential suburb is not widely known about but is proving popular among residents is Morningside Ext 40 in the River Club area, Sandton.

This spacious, upmarket home in River Club is situated close to Sandton and is on sale through Pam Golding Properties for R19 million.

It is a quiet little suburb, and a “very well kept secret”, says Jonathan Davies, Pam Golding Properties (PGP) Hyde Park joint branch manager.

According to Davies, the area is appreciated by those who enjoy community living in a secure environment. He says it offers homes from the middle through to the upper market and it caters to a variety of tastes.

Davies says properties tend to be in demand. One of the reasons for this is that it is central and close to Sandton’s CBD. This is appreciated by those who work in the area and enjoy the shopping that is on offer in the greater Sandton area. There are also a multitude of schools within easy reach including St Stithians College, Redhill, Brescia House, The French School Lycée Jules Verneand British International College.
