Auctions aplenty in the next few weeks

A number of luxurious properties – ranging from residential homes in upmarket suburbs to weekend bush retreats with a conference centre in the Magaliesberg – are due to go on auction in the next couple of weeks.

In Dainfern Valley East, a triple-storey home on the eastern side of the development at 1907 Augustus Road will be auctioned in the second week of April. It offer huge reception rooms, extensive entertainment and living areas as well a en-suite bedrooms with balconies.

At the same time a home in Kyalami  comprising an entrance hall, ballroom, movie theatre, dayroom formal lounge, family room, dining room and stunning kitchen with imported French gas stove, two studies and five en-suite bedrooms will go sale. This home is situated at 169 Bit Road in Kyalami.

In Dunkeld West, an older property set on 4 703 sqm that is ideal for development will also be on sale. It is set high on the border of Dunkeld West and Hyde Park, ideally situated for a town or cluster house development.

Meanwhile in Fourways, 666 Saranton Estate will go on sale. This home has four bedrooms, three with en-suite bathrooms, three reception rooms set around an atrium and feature pool. The brand new home must still be finished off.

These properties are being auctioned by Auction Alliance alongside a number of less luxurious properties that have either been repossessed or are being sold as an urgent sale.

A luxury lodge in the Jejane Private Nature Reserve is due to be auctioned on 14 April. Jejane is on the fringe of the Kruger National Park and Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, close to Hoespruit. The Tshepene Lodge, a two-bedroomed house in the nature reserve is to be auctioned there.

The stone house is on of 47 allowed on the reserve and features two en suite bedrooms, an open plan kitchen and separate scullery. There is also an open plan living area with a lounge and dining room leading onto a deck overlooking the bushveld. It has a raised braai and an outdoor shower.

The sale includes all furniture, a 4x4 Landrover. The property can be syndicated among five buyers.

Meanwhile, Park Village Auctions is offering for fine homes for sale arising from the liquidation of a single company. The properties include a family home in Gauteng and a weekend gush getaway with conference centre potential in Magaliesberg.

The sales take place on 29 March starting with a multi-level home at 13 Los Angeles Drive in Northcliff. This home has an entrance hall, lounge and bar, dining room, kitchen and scullery, en suite guest bedroom with three other bedrooms (main en suite), large patio, domestic staff quarters and double garages.

Later the same day at 35 Topaz Avenue, Kloofendal, another property will go on sale. It is also a multilevel home with entrance hall, guest cloakroom, study, lounge, dining room, kitchen, scullery, laundry, entertainment area and open wooden deck. It has five en-suite bedrooms, double garages and domestic quarters.

On 31 March a double storey cluster home will be auctioned at Baker Security Estate in Edenglen ahead of a second auction at Portion 79 of the farm Hartbeesfontein in Hekpoort, Magaliesberg. It is billed as a bush getaway with significant development potential.
